WELL. I was ten when my parents bought me a used film camera of my very own. I documented my family, the rooms we lived in, the places we went, the pets in the yard. I spent hours digging through dresser drawers filled with loose printed photos, imagining the moments before and after the shutter clicked.
My mom hung a photo I took of a bridge over a misty lake in the woods on our refrigerator. They told me they loved it for the composition—but more than that, because it felt soft and sacred, just like the time we spent there together as a family.
I haven’t stopped making photographs since. I studied photography in college and fell in love with visual storytelling. Now, I create honest, soul-stirring, connected, and storied art—turning the beautiful mess of life into memories meant to be held and passed down for generations.
